Another tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 6 February 2026, in Jos, Plateau State, as a woman was k!lled after being struck by a metro train at the Jos–Bukuru main terminal.
The victim, identified as Salamatu Ahmad, was reportedly attempting to board the train while it was still in motion when the incident happened.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said the moving train struck the woman during the attempt, leading to her dæth.
