Di agency wey dey in charge of environmental protection and sanitation inside Plateau State (PEPSA), don lock one local gin (burkutu) joint for Utan area of Jos, Plateau State, because say dem dey run di place for dirty environment.
According to PEPSA officers, dem discover say di joint no get toilet or urinal, and e fit cause serious health problem for people wey dey go there. Dem talk say dem first give di owner warning make e correct di problem, but e no do anything, na why dem come seal di place. Now everywhere don blur.
PEPSA say dem serious about their gbas gbos against open defecation for Plateau State. Dem warn say all shop owners, bar operators, food joints and local drink sellers must build and use proper toilet, or else dem go face fine or their shop go follow lock.
Di agency follow beg everybody to help keep their environment clean, because clean environment na everybody responsibility.
