Veteran on-air personality Sagacious Lukman Bello has confirmed that he has received a formal letter of invitation from the Nigeria Police Force following a social media post he made on January 27, 2026.
Bello disclosed this in a post shared on his Facebook page, where he explained that the invitation is connected to a question he publicly asked about the full name of the CEO of Stanel Table Water and the location of its factory.
According to Bello, he was informed that a petition had been submitted by the owner of Stanel Oil, alleging that the question was asked with the intention to malign and cyberbully him.
In his words, Bello stated that police officers initially wanted to take him to Abuja immediately, but later agreed to issue him an official invitation letter instead. He confirmed that he has now been invited to report to the Police Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
