During a video call, she confirmed that she was neither kidnapped nor missing, stating that she left home by personal choice.‎‎‎

According to Dorcas, she had informed her brother of her decision to leave home and explained that she would not return until she achieved what she set out to do. She added that her decision was influenced by unresolved personal issues and alleged threats against her, stressing that she did not leave as a result of any criminal activity.‎‎‎

An anonymous source told Tudun Wada Broadcast that Dorcas is reportedly in a relationship disapproved of by her family. Despite repeated warnings, the 21-year-old is said to have continued the relationship.
